Q:What are my drying options if I buy green lumber?
A:You have two options to dry lumber: Air-dried or Kiln-dried.
Air dried- placing drying sticks between each layer to allow for air flow. When air drying it is best to pick a level spot with good air flow out of direct sunlight and cover the pile with tin.
Kiln drying- This is done with a specialized drying system. At this time we do not offer kiln drying.
